Images of Students & Social Media
RCHK will take photos and videos of the students during school hours and school activities. We reserve the right to put images we take of the students and their first name, associated with the class and year, in official RCHK or ESF publications, websites and social media without seeking specific parental permission. Students’ full names, however, will not be published on official RCHK social media channels or websites without the permission of their parents or guardians.

Use of online chat tools
As our Primary students navigate the digital world, we want to remind parents and guardians that the official minimum age for WhatsApp and other social media in Hong Kong and globally is 13.
We ask that you keep this restriction in mind. If you choose to allow your child to use the platform, we strongly recommend implementing these safety measures:

Regular check-ins: routinely review your child’s phone and messaging history.

Open conversations: discuss digital citizenship and what content is appropriate to share.

Group chat monitoring: keep track of which group chats your child joins and the nature of the interactions.
