Dr. Brown joined Renaissance College in 2009. He previously served in several roles in education, including IB teacher, DP coordinator, high school principal and deputy superintendent. He was born and raised in New York City but spent most of his career in Tampa Bay, Florida. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling, hiking, and swimming.

Mr. Doucette is the Head of Primary at Renaissance College. Having worked in Hong Kong since 2002, as an educator and leader in both kindergarten and primary settings, Jason is passionate about learning & teaching, and exploring concepts embedded within including inquiry, concept-driven learning, 'learning to learn', wellbeing, learning diversity, and the sciences of learning. Originally from Prince Edward Island, Canada, Jason continues to enjoy what Hong Kong and this part of the work has to offer. Having watched his own children grow in an international school setting, and learning with his wife who is also a teacher/leader, Jason continues to cultivate sustainable and authentic approaches to nurture student growth in schools.

Mr. Wheeler joined Renaissance College in 2011. He was born in Trinidad, West Indies. Before joining Renaissance, he was the Head of Middle School at King George V School. Previously he taught at Hampstead School in London. He is a keen musician and enjoys playing the bass guitar in particular.
Ms. Anney Chan is originally from Hong Kong, and after a few years working in the Aviation Industry, she joined ESF in 2008 as an HR Executive at the ESF headquarters. She then became an HR Officer at Harrow International School of Hong Kong before returning to the ESF family in 2013 as an HR and Finance Manager of Renaissance College. After 11 successful years, she is taking over as a Business Manager to oversee all college operations, including finance and facilities. Ms Chan approaches HR with a focus on wellbeing and DEI initiatives, emphasising financial management efficiency and sustainability at the school.
Dr. Stephanie Howdle-Lang was born in the UK and settled in Hong Kong after spending six years in the Middle East. Her doctoral research significantly contributed to understanding child wellbeing in educational settings, particularly within Hong Kong. Outside of her professional life, Stephanie loves revisiting familiar countries and exploring new ones, especially with friends and family.

Mr. Copley is originally from Sheffield, England but has been teaching internationally for the last 13 years in both the Middle East and Mainland China. Ryan has specialised in pastoral care and student wellbeing for the last decade and continues this in his role at RCHK. Ryan lives in Hong Kong with his wife and son. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys visiting the cinema, reading comic books and watching his beloved Sheffield Wednesday Football Club.
Ms. Chen is originally from China. She joined RCHK as the Head of Primary Chinese in 2021. With over twenty years of experience in education, she has actively contributed to the advancement of teaching practices and held leadership positions within the primary divisions of international schools. In her spare time, Ms. Chen enjoys reading and spending time with her children, who are also RCHK students.

She is originally from the UK and has two little dogs that she loves to go on adventures with - particularly in the hills of Hong Kong. Otherwise, you can find her enjoying the sea - kayaking, paddle boarding, or sailing, tending to her very small vegetable garden, or with her nose in a book.
Ms. Davey-Peel joined Renaissance College in 2018. Originally from the UK, she has worked in the educational sector in England, Dubai and Hong Kong. Her subject specializations are film and global politics. Having trained and worked in Further Education in England, her focus is on preparing students for their futures. While completing her Master's in Education for Social Justice, she was able to indulge in an understanding of the transformative nature of education and embed this in her practice. Outside of the school environment, she enjoys travelling, running and spending time with her family.
